Key responsibilities

  • Build the operating foundation that lets a complex organization move quickly and with confidence.
  • Design and run the cadence by which the organization plans, prioritizes, and holds itself accountable, turning a fast-moving, high-stakes environment into one that is predictable and well-planned.
  • Elevate engineering and operational rigor so the organization can move fast without compromising reliability and quality, raising the bar on incident response and follow-through.
  • Drive the organization's AI transformation as a program. Ensure the organization has a clear AI strategy with named owners and measurable milestones across each workstream, both how we apply AI to strengthen our defenses and how we evolve into an AI-native team with AI-native workflows.
  • Lead strategic initiatives that require partnership across the company. Align stakeholders on a shared direction, pressure-test the plan, work across organizational boundaries, and represent the leader in key decisions.
  • Lead and develop the technical program management team. Lead the technical program management team that drives execution across the organization and set a clear standard for the work. Develop these leaders into strategic partners who bring judgment and direction to hard problems, not just coordination, and grow the team's impact by scaling through others.
  • Strengthen the organization's communication and culture. Help the leadership team communicate clearly and consistently, and shape the narratives that align the broader team. Support the programs and forums that keep a large organization connected and healthy.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, technical program management, or engineering operations, or equivalent role.
  • BS degree in a technology or related technical discipline, or 10+ years of related practical experience.
  • Experience managing teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Trust & Safety, security, or risk domains a plus.
  • A deep technical background, with the ability to work from product to platform to infrastructure and reason about AI/ML systems.
  • A proven track record running large-scale engineering operations with rigor.
  • Hands-on experience in AI native work flows.
  • Experience leading technical program management or engineering operations leaders at scale.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence and work effectively across organization boundaries.
  • Curious and creative, able to push boundaries, ask "why?" and "why not?", and is tenacious with problem-solving.
  • Ability to maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
  • Ability to innovate and scale ideas and processes to large teams.
