About the role
The successful candidate will lead the Advanced Delivery Unit and Fetal Care Center Programs, Level One Pediatric Trauma Center, Level 4 NICU, and ELSO Platinum Level ECMO Program. They will oversee a team of 9 pediatric surgeons, 5 advanced practice providers, 2 specialty nurses, and 4 fellows.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Fetal Care Center and Advanced Delivery Unit programs
- Manages the Level One Pediatric Trauma Center and Level 4 NICU
- Oversees the ELSO Platinum Level ECMO Program
- Provides clinical leadership and mentorship for the Pediatric Surgery fellowship program
- Engages in cutting-edge research and contributes to the advancement of pediatric surgical care
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- Fellowship trained in Pediatric General Surgery
- Fetal Surgery experience
- Board certified/eligible in Pediatric General Surgery
- Valid medical license and DEA
