Job Summary

The Chief Nurse Executive (CNE) is a senior executive role at Mass General Brigham (MGB) responsible for establishing long-term vision and direction for nursing professional practice across all enterprise care settings. This role provides system-wide leadership to ensure consistent clinical standards, quality outcomes, and operational alignment of nursing services.

Qualifications

  • 8 years of substantive leadership experience in a complex and high-performing academic medical center or similarly complex organization required.
  • Licensed as a professional nurse in MA.
  • Doctorate in Nursing, PhD or equivalent doctoral degree required.
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organization / environment required.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully leading teams.
