About the role

Responsibilities

• Developing security strategies and roadmaps aligned to startup growth stages
• Advising on compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR
• Leading risk assessments and security architecture decisions
• Preparing startups for investor due diligence and enterprise sales security reviews
• Building security culture from the ground up in fast-moving teams

Requirements

• 10+ years in cybersecurity with at least 3 years in a CISO or senior security leadership role
• Experience working with or inside startups and understanding their speed, constraints, and priorities
• Able to translate complex security risk into plain business language and own the security conversation at board and executive level
• Looking for variety, autonomy, and the ability to make real impact across multiple companies simultaneously
