Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the President & CEO and Executive Team on all Human Resources related matters
- Develop and implement a long-term HR strategy that supports PSL's growth, workforce sustainability, and retention goals
- Align HR initiatives with organizational priorities including occupancy growth, service, excellence, and operational performance
- Lead enterprise-wide workforce planning including succession planning and leadership pipeline development
- Champion PSL's mission-driven culture rooted in compassion, integrity, and respect
- Drive employee engagement strategies that position PSL as a Great Place to Work and employer of choice
- Lead initiatives that support inclusion, diversity, and belonging
- Partner with operational leaders to strengthen team member experience and retention through timely and effective communication
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies
- Implement leadership development programs that enhance capabilities and support career growth
- Ensure effective performance management systems
- Advance training and professional development initiatives
- Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs
- Oversee employee wellness initiatives including EAP and behavioral health resources
- Ensure equity and consistency in compensation practices
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations
- Oversee policies related to employee relations and workplace conduct
- Partner with legal and compliance teams on HR matters
- Lead optimization of HR processes, systems, and analytics
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform workforce strategy
- Oversee HR functional areas including employee relations, benefits, and HRIS
- Collaborate with community leaders and corporate teams
- Support workforce strategy and board-level initiatives
- Foster strong relationships with external partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- 10-15 years of progressive HR leadership experience
- Experience in healthcare, senior living, or nonprofit environments preferred
- Expertise in talent management, organizational development, and workforce strategy
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
