About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Chief Financial Officer: GPU-as-a-Service Business to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This executive will serve as the senior financial partner to the general manager of a high-growth GPU cloud business, helping shape the financial strategy as the segment launches and scales. The role will balance aggressive growth objectives with disciplined capital allocation, profitability, and long-term value creation. This leader will also build a strong finance function, support investment decisions, and partner closely across the organization to translate demand into actionable financial plans.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior financial partner to the general manager for the GPU-as-a-service segment, aligning with broader financial strategy
- Define and implement the financial operating model for a business that is launching and scaling
- Lead planning and forecasting to guide growth and investment decisions
- Balance growth objectives with financial management and profitability
- Build and develop a finance team to support business growth
- Develop capital strategy for GPU fleet expansion and infrastructure investment
- Partner with leaders to translate demand forecasts into financial plans
Qualifications
- 15+ years of executive finance leadership experience in technology or capital-intensive businesses
- Expertise in capital allocation and financial planning for infrastructure
- Strong background in data center economics and investment evaluations
- Experience in strategic partnerships and commercial negotiations
- Previous role as CFO or senior finance executive in GPU cloud or infrastructure-as-a-service preferred

Pay
$200,000 – $250,000 annually
