Chief Financial Officer ( Fully on-site)
PharmaLink is seeking a hands-on, operationally engaged Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as a strategic business partner to the CEO, executive leaders, and private equity partners. This role combines strong business acumen with people leadership, accountability, and execution to drive performance and operational discipline across the organization.
About the Role
The CFO will oversee and lead PharmaLink’s accounting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), treasury, budgeting, reporting, audit, and strategic finance functions while positioning the company for continued growth and scalability within a private equity environment. This role directly oversees the Finance department and requires close partnership with other leaders to ensure alignment between financial strategy, operational execution, and organizational growth.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic and operational finance partner to the CEO, executive leadership team, and private equity investors.
- Provide executive oversight of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management while leading FP&A, forecasting, financial modeling, and enterprise financial strategy initiatives.
- Build, refine, and maintain scalable financial infrastructure, reporting tools, KPIs, and dashboards for timely visibility into company performance.
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages to executive leadership, board members, private equity stakeholders, and lenders.
- Partner cross-functionally with department leaders to improve financial accountability, operational efficiency, and business decision-making.
- Drive budgeting discipline and educate leaders on financial ownership, forecasting, and performance management.
- Support organizational scalability through financial modeling, workforce planning, capital planning, and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain strong relationships with banking partners, auditors, tax advisors, and external financial stakeholders.
- Evaluate financial risks, operational gaps, and succession vulnerabilities while implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, lender obligations, and internal financial controls.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic guidance on growth initiatives, investments, acquisitions, vendor agreements, and commercial opportunities.
- Maintain and optimize ERP and financial systems infrastructure, including SAP and related reporting platforms.
- Foster a high-performance, accountable finance culture focused on collaboration, responsiveness, execution, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in executive planning, compensation strategy discussions, and board-level initiatives.
- Prepare and present quarterly board meeting materials in collaboration with the PharmaLink executive leadership team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
- Prior experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or equivalent senior financial executive.
- Experience working within a private equity-backed environment.
- Experience interacting directly with lenders, investors, and boards.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial controls, budgeting, forecasting, and financial operations.
- Proven experience building scalable financial processes and reporting structures.
- Strong executive communication, leadership, and business partnership skills.
- Experience leading ERP-driven financial environments (SAP preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, CPA, or other advanced financial/business credential.
- Experience in pharmaceutical services, healthcare, life sciences, logistics, distribution, or other regulated industries.
- Experience supporting high-growth or rapidly scaling organizations.
- Experience leading organizational and financial transformation initiatives.
