Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Description
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO)/Controller is a member of the executive leadership team responsible for the strategic and operational direction of the company’s financial functions. The CFO will lead financial planning and analysis, accounting and tax, capital spending, and investor/lender relations, while supporting other financial operations across corporate facilities. This role requires a hands-on financial leader with experience in cost accounting, supply chain finance, and economic efficiency within a manufacturing and import setting.
Responsibilities
Partner with the CEO and others to develop and execute short and long-term strategic plans
Provide financial insights to support growth initiatives, acquisitions, capital investments, and operational improvements
Lead financial modeling, scenario planning, and business performance analysis
Serve as an advisor and make presentations to the Board of Directors
Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, cost accounting, inventory valuation, and revenue recognition
Maintain compliance with related regulatory requirements
Drive product costing accuracy and standard cost management
Monitor plant-level financial performance/KPIs, and margin improvement initiatives
Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related business field
In-depth knowledge of financial and accounting principles
Minimum of 5-10 years as a financial officer/controller in manufacturing and distribution environments, or related field
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with ERP software (preferable GSS software), Microsoft Office, and other related software
Demonstrated knowledge in cost accounting and inventory management
Proven team participation at various corporate levels
Desired Qualifications
10+ years as a lead financial officer for a publicly traded corporation
Certification as a CPA, ACCA, or CMA
Advanced knowledge in multi-site operations
Advanced knowledge of manufacturing costing

Financial modeling support and facilitation
Ability to communicate/exchange information to individuals across the corporation
Work conditions: Full-time position in corporate headquarters, limited exposure in a direct manufacturing environment
