Position Summary The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for the company's overall financial health, strategy, and operations. This role oversees financial planning, capital strategy, reporting, and risk management, while partnering closely with the CEO, board, and other executives to drive sustainable growth in a rapidly evolving company. Key Responsibilities Financial Strategy & LeadershipDevelop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectivesServe as a strategic advisor to the CEO and board of directors on financial matters, M&A opportunities, and long-term growth planningLead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning processesEvaluate and advise on new revenue streams Oversee financial modeling, scenario planning, and KPI tracking across ad revenue, affiliate/commerce, subscriptions, and other business linesProvide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analysis to leadership and the boardEnsure timely, accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAPMaintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance proceduresOversee audits, tax filings, and relationships with external auditors and tax advisorsManage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operationsLead fundraising efforts (equity, debt, or other capital) as needed, including investor relations and board reportingManage banking relationships, credit facilities, and capital structure decisionsSupport M&A activity, including due diligence, valuation, and integration planning for acquisitions or divestitures of media brands/assetsRequired10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including 5+ years in a senior finance leadership role (CFO, VP Finance, or similar)CPA preferredProven track record of financial planning, fundraising, and/or M&A experience
