About the role
The CFO will lead the finance function of a manufacturing and distribution business, transforming the company from a craft-led model to a metrics-led platform. The role requires a strong strategic finance background with experience in pricing, margin, and inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a scalable, data-driven finance and operating system
- Professionalize and scale a global, acquisition-ready platform
- Improve inventory turns, optimize SKU rationalization, and enhance pricing discipline
- Unlock cash and EBITDA through strategic initiatives
Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive career success in manufacturing and distribution
- Experience as the top financial leader of a $10mm-$100mm manufacturing/distribution company
- A strong strategic finance orientation with experience in pricing, margin, and inventory management
- Experience in private equity and mergers and acquisitions is preferred
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- CPA certification is preferred
- Proven track record of driving financial performance and operational excellence
