About the role
Starkey, Inc., founded in 1930, serves nearly 500 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Wichita, Kansas, helping them to work, live more independently and engage in their community through a variety of programs.
The Board is seeking a visionary CEO who:
- leads with integrity
- has executive management experience with financial and employee supervisory responsibilities in a human services organization
- has a record of accomplishment leading a comparable-sized nonprofit
- has previous personal or professional relationships with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Responsibilities
This position has responsibilities for a workforce of 380 employees, a $27 million operating budget and $800,000 capital budget, more than 40 homes and facilities, CARF accreditation and ongoing state and local advocacy efforts.
Requirements
Qualifications include:
- visionary leadership
