About the role
Providence Swedish Rehabilitation Hospital is a joint venture between Providence Swedish and Lifepoint Health. The CEO leads the hospital by ensuring clinical excellence, operating efficiency, and financial strength, collaborating with the Medical Director and medical staff.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic plan focusing on clinical excellence, financial performance, and market/business development.
- Oversee operational controls, administrative procedures, and systems to meet and exceed clinical and financial goals.
- Maintain proper financial structure, review operating results, and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Motivate and lead a high-performance management team, recruit and retain required members, including physicians.
- Create positive relationships with key stakeholders, including the Medical Staff and Board of Managers.
- Ensure adequate service provision through referrals, consultations, or contractual agreements, and manage contracts.
- Support the Hospital's Continuous Quality Improvement Plan and measure its effectiveness.
- Establish and maintain a safe working environment compliant with all regulations and accreditation requirements.
- Provide timely, accurate, and complete reports on hospital operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a preference for business, healthcare operations/management, or clinical discipline.
- 5+ years of successful healthcare management experience, preferably as hospital/healthcare facility CEO/COO.
- Rehabilitation hospital experience preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master's degree preferred; preferred degree in Business, Healthcare Operations/Management, or a clinical discipline.
- Med-Surge hospitals and systems (for profit and non-profit) knowledge a plus.
- Basic computer knowledge including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Clinical and Administrative Management experience a plus.
- Passion for superior clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and partner relationships.

Pay
$180k - $230k plus bonus and incentives.
