About the role

The CEO at Select Specialty Hospital NENJ leads and provides compassionate, excellent treatment and leadership in a critical care environment. The role involves hands-on hospital operations management, strategic direction, and operations management with a focus on business development, exceptional quality patient care, and fiscal accountability.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex situations and execute decisions effectively
• Communicate with patients, families, and staff
• Ensure hospital’s overall compliance with State, Federal, and JCAHO regulations
• Focus on employee engagement
• Create and own a Top 10 Key Business Development Relationship list
• Implement the Corporate Case Management and PPS Model
• Prepare an Annual Operating Budget, a 3-year Capital Budget, and a Strategic Plan
• Present and approve these plans by the Governing Board
• Maintain a high ethical standard
• Adhere to all compliance, HIPAA, and professional standards
• Thrive in a dynamic, challenging healthcare environment

Requirements

• Master’s Degree Required
• Three (3) years leadership experience in healthcare
• Three (3) years management functions of finance, strategic planning, and community education of health programs
• Three (3) years operations experience in an acute care or specialty hospital setting

Qualifications

Must be a hands-on self-starter who can assume broad responsibility in a dynamic, challenging healthcare environment.
