Chief Estimator - Dry/Underground Utilities - Warrenton VA

About the role

My client specializes in underground dry utility installation, specifically in the mission critical sector. They are looking to hire a chief estimator for data centers and powerplant projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
• Lead and mentor the estimating team to achieve project goals.
• Review project plans and specifications to identify potential challenges and opportunities.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project scope and budget.
• Analyze subcontractor and supplier proposals to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance.
• Maintain and update historical cost data and industry pricing trends.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather necessary project information.
• Ensure all estimates are completed within deadlines and meet company standards.

Requirements

• Strong experience with construction cost estimating processes and tools.

Pay

Competitive salary ranging from $130,000 to $175,000 annually. Permanent position in the Warrenton, VA area.
