Chief Engineer - Robotics

Responsibilities

• Execute projects by leading technical staff and managing technical deliverables
• Lead projects with responsibility for technical approach and oversight, customer satisfaction, quality, timing, and profitability utilizing cross-functional resources and best practices
• Cook up planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of projects
• Plan and formulate engineering programs, reviewing product designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications
• Acknowledge design changes and drawing releases
• Cook up coordination of activities concerned with technical development, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test issues
• Participate in developing engineering best practices and integrating their deployment throughout the organization
• Identify risks to customer satisfaction and project deliverables, and develop action plans to mitigate
• Support Program Managers in planning project financials, tracking costs, and ensuring target profitability

Requirements

Essential Knowledge And Skills:

• A systems integration approach to vehicle development including knowledge in a variety of automotive and defense sub-systems
• Strong organizational skills
• Exceptional communication of technical and programmatic data
• A strong personal desire to always be the best, work with the best, and support the team

Desired Experience And Education:

• BS or MS in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or similar engineering education
• 8+ years of engineering experience in defense, automotive, or aerospace industry
• Broad experience with vehicle systems, to include Powertrain, Driveline, Electrical Systems, Control Systems, and Structures
• Experience in prototype and low-volume manufacturing is a plus

Other Requirements

Travel may be required at different frequency depending on the program.

Pay

Pay Range: $136,500.00 - $241,500.00
