Pay

$33-$37 per hour. Overtime eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, managing, and operating capital budgets
• Develop and implement plans and schedules to achieve company and department goals
• Create processes, procedures, and standards for facilities operational performance
• Read and understand contract and RFP requirements
• Foster an atmosphere of professionalism and mutual support among employees
• Review work performance of subordinates
• Manage and maintain completion of scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs) through CMMS
• Assist with environmental compliance and local, state, and federal code compliance
• Develop, manage, and coordinate all shift schedules, including holiday, vacation, sick, and emergency coverages
• Conduct weekly staff meetings to discuss facility operations, project status, toolbox safety, and other relevant information
• Review, approve, and submit weekly timesheets, work order tickets, and other required documentation
• Accurately document work performed on tickets and/or work orders
• Prepare and submit cost analysis reports for contracted work as required
• Assist with updating and implementing HAZCOM and environmental programs
• Set up, maintain, and use filing systems
• Perform monthly tool and equipment inventory
• Maintain skills and knowledge to industry standards
• Perform annual and semi-annual performance reviews
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• CFC Universal license (410A)
• 2-4 years working in a hotel as a Building Engineer or Chief Building Engineer
• 5-8 years of relevant experience operating and maintaining mechanical engineering systems
• Construction management experience
• Experience opening a new hotel
• Excellent customer service skills
• Available for 24/7 on-call duty
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds
• Capable of ascending ladders up to 30 feet
