Chief Engineer for Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites St. Louis West/Wentzville

About the Role

Midas Hospitality is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee our maintenance department at Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites St. Louis West/Wentzville in Wentzville, MO. This person will oversee all aspects of the hotel maintenance department including plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems and preventive maintenance program.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment
• Diagnose problems or repair machines
• Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment
• Maintains a Preventative Maintenance Program within the rooms to ensure they are being kept up to standards on a quarterly basis and the proper documentation is being recorded
• Responds to maintenance requests received from Front Desk or Housekeeping within 15 minutes (occupied rooms)
• Pool chemical testing

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of facilities experience
• Experience in a management position
