Chief Engineer

Overview Of The Job

The Chief Engineer will be responsible for:

• The operation and maintenance procedures of the main machines, Power generation plants and auxiliary equipment that are inside the machine room, as well as those that are on deck
• Guaranteeing efficiency in the operation of all the mechanical equipment inside the tugboats

What You Offer

• More than 2 years of experience in similar position preferable
• Technical degree in Industrial Mechanic, Diesel/ Hydraulic or related fields, preferable
• Capacity to perform Level I maintenance to the equipment
• Basic knowledge in multi-meter use, fuel and water probe use, amount of fuel and water calculation, appropriate use of paints, oils analysis, use of heat gun, manometers and thermometers reading
• Fluent written and spoken English
