Responsibilities
- Ensure the hotel is in great working order and meets all operational standards related to the Engineering Department.
- Conduct walk-throughs and assessments of maintenance and operation of the hotel structure, systems, and equipment.
- Oversee the Rooms and Public Area Preventive Maintenance Program and maintain updated records.
- Collaborate with the hotel management team and property General Manager.
- Hire, train, supervise, coach, and counsel associates, including managers.
- Ensure grounds are maintained to provide a great arrival experience.
- Implement the hotel's safety and emergency policies and procedures (e.g., evacuations, first aid) including removal of all safety hazards, following the company's OSHA Hazcom program and safe lifting techniques.
