Chief Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure the hotel is in great working order and meets all operational standards related to the Engineering Department.
• Conduct walk-throughs and assessments of maintenance and operation of the hotel structure, systems, and equipment.
• Oversee the Rooms and Public Area Preventive Maintenance Program and maintain updated records.
• Collaborate with the hotel management team and property General Manager.
• Hire, train, supervise, coach, and counsel associates, including managers.
• Maintain hotel grounds to provide a great arrival experience.
• Implement the hotel's safety and emergency policies and procedures (e.g., evacuations, first aid) including hazard removal, OSHA Hazcom compliance, and safe lifting techniques.
