Responsibilities
- Set the technical vision and direction for programs, collaborating with internal technical staff and external customers
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams developing algorithmic, software, cloud, and data solutions
- Manage program execution, ensuring schedule and budget adherence, and overseeing successful program delivery
- Cultivate strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders, advocating for MORSE's technology and services
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our portfolio and driving long-term growth
- Provide technical oversight and guidance to program team members
Requirements
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance. Active Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI is preferred.
- Master's degree or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in R&D, with a focus on AI/ML, software, and decision systems
- Proven leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing high-performing technical teams
- Deep understanding of software development principles, methods, and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to absorb complex technical information quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and infrastructure is nice to have
Pay
$120,000 - $225,000 USD
Schedule
MORSE maintains an "open" leave policy that does not restrict exempt, regular full-time employees to a specific number of paid sick or vacation days. However, this policy is not an "unlimited" paid leave policy.
