Job Summary

The chief of the Division of Arthroplasty in the Department of Orthopaedics will provide strategic leadership and direction for all aspects of the Division. The chief of Arthroplasty will be responsible for all planning, policy, operations, and oversight of the Division's academic, research, and clinical programs. This leader will have financial authority over the state-appropriated budget assigned to the Division, extramural research funding received, philanthropic funding, and other Division-related financial matters, in accordance with applicable University policies and practices. The chief will have discretion in the recruitment and retention of Division faculty, who will report directly to the chief of the Division of Arthroplasty.
