Chief Bridge Engineer

About the role

The Chief Bridge Engineer oversees the design, construction, and maintenance of all bridge projects within the company. This role requires a deep understanding of structural engineering principles and extensive experience in bridge engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire bridge project lifecycle from conceptual design to completion.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and construction teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Lead the team in the development and implementation of innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments to ensure the integrity and safety of bridges under their supervision.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, contractors, and community leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in bridge engineering.
• Experience leading large-scale bridge projects.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards for bridge construction.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
