Chief Brand Officer, Sports Academy - $400,000/year USD
About the Role
This is a high-visibility founding role built to make families believe in a new school category. Texas Sports Academy is constructing a $25k+/year AI-powered sports-education model for students who demand both rigorous academics and meaningful athletic development. You will command a stage, deliver on camera, and engage parents, athletes, coaches, media figures, and civic leaders with a single, unmistakable message. You will transform student outcomes, athlete testimonials, and leadership insight into a narrative that every member of the organization can deliver with clarity and conviction, then construct the infrastructure that validates it—through profiles, video content, editorial work, data-driven stories, earned media placements, and public programming. As brand recognition expands, you will guide the creative team and define the standard for how TSA presents itself publicly.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop the core narrative framework and audience-tailored messaging for families, athletes, coaches, media, and policy leaders
- Create evidence-driven student and athlete profiles, outcome-based data narratives, video content, and editorial storytelling
- Secure earned media placements, cultivate thought leadership, and lead communications through critical moments
- Serve as TSA's representative on camera, on stage, at public events, in podcasts, and with press outlets
- Establish the creative excellence standard and guide the team toward unified, credible messaging
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Executing paid digital advertising, media buying, cold outreach, or performance marketing initiatives
- Overseeing backend enrollment systems, CRM administration, or admissions process workflows
- Pursuing vanity metrics like content volume, impression counts, or diluted engagement statistics
- Operating behind presentations, committees, or internal brand approval cycles rather than serving as the public representative
- Managing curriculum development, academic strategy, fundraising, or investor relations as primary responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Generate a sustained flow of prospective families who comprehend and embrace TSA's premium AI-powered sports-education model prior to entering the enrollment phase

- Ability to build brand narrative architecture and audience messaging from scratch
- Strong skill in audience code-switching across families, athletes, coaches, media, and public stakeholders

- Passion for sports and student athletics
