About the role
A global manufacturing organization is seeking a Chief Accounting Officer to serve as the senior accounting leader and strategic partner to the CFO.
Responsibilities
- Lead the global accounting and financial reporting function.
- Oversee consolidations, compliance, audits, and internal controls.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and accounting policies.
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and business growth.
- Drive process improvements, systems enhancements, and finance transformation efforts.
- Build and develop a high-performing accounting organization.
Requirements
- CPA required; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.
- Prior CAO, VP of Accounting, Corporate Controller, or similar executive-level experience.
- Multinational financial reporting and consolidation experience.
- Manufacturing, industrial, or product-based industry background.
