Essential Job Functions

• Catch and load chickens in a timely, efficient, and safe manner.
• Catch and load chickens using proper lifting and loading techniques.
• Operate catching and loading equipment using proper techniques and procedures to ensure safe handling of birds.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Able to constantly lift 30 lbs. for the duration of the work shift.
• Able to bend, squat, and kneel for the duration of the work shift.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and shifts with variable starting and ending times when needed.
• Follows the animal welfare policy.
• Complies with company standards, guidelines, and policies.
• Passes drug and alcohol screening.

Pay, Schedule, Benefits

The pay rate is $20.50 per hour. An additional $1.00 per hour is added for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm, and an additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am.
