CHHA, Certified Home Health Aide, Adult Personal Care

About the role

Join BAYADA’s personal care and companionship team as a Home Health Aide (HHA) and provide one-on-one support to adults in Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Cumberland, and Salem counties. Following a registered nurse’s written plan of care, you’ll help clients remain safe and independent at home through personal care, household support, and companion services.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care
• Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Support range-of-motion exercises and ambulation (transfers, use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Offer medication reminders
• Check vital signs: temperature, pulse, respiration

Requirements

• Minimum one year of work experience (previous home health care or patient care welcomed but not required—training provided)
• Current HHA license listed in good standing with the board
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, excellent, and reliable care
