Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Test drive vehicles and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be kept informed.
- Provide estimates of time and parts, as needed, for additional repairs.
- Perform repairs under warranty according to manufacturer guidelines and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures and safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Service Technician or similar role is required.
- ASE Certification preferred but not required.
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively.
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
