About the Role
Indiana University Health and the Indiana University School of Medicine are seeking a Chest Radiologist to join a dynamic and collaborative academic radiology practice. This faculty position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care within one of the nation's leading academic health systems while contributing to cutting-edge research, medical education, and innovation. The successful candidate will join a nationally recognized Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences and work closely with multidisciplinary teams across Indiana University Health's statewide network.
Responsibilities
- Interpret a full spectrum of thoracic imaging studies, including:
- Chest radiography
- Thoracic CT and CT angiography
- High Resolution chest CT
- Lung cancer screening CT
- Thoracic MRI (as applicable)
- Collaborate with pulmonology, thoracic surgery, oncology, infectious disease, and transplant services
- Provide consultative support to referring physicians and healthcare teams
- Participate in multidisciplinary conferences
- Teach trainees
- Engage in scholarly activities aligned with the academic mission of Indiana University School of Medicine
- Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Requirements
- MD/DO
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited radiology program
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Radiology
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Indiana
