Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate and correct speech-to-text errors in chess commentary transcripts.
• Ensure accuracy of piece names, squares, and moves.
• Reconstruct full chess games on an analysis board using corrected transcripts.
• Paste the PGN and verify game completeness.
• Identify and itemize minimal missing information if the transcript does not specify the complete game.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to improve the quality of chess datasets.

Qualifications

• Rated 1800+ ELO (FIDE or online equivalent).
• Fluent in reading algebraic notation.
• Comfortable using an analysis board.
• Strong ear for spoken chess commentary.
• Careful attention to detail.
