CHEMISTRY TEACHER -DOVER HIGH SCHOOL 2026-2027
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with NJ Standards for Science, covering topics in Chemistry.
- Create a classroom environment that fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and a growth mindset in Chemistry.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student growth and achievement in science.
Qualifications
- Chemistry Certification or HQ in Chemistry required
- New Jersey Teacher of Chemistry or Teacher of Physical Science certification.
- Strong knowledge of the NGSS/New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS)
- Ability to analyze student data to drive instruction and support student growth.
- Ability to co-teach and work effectively with colleagues to support student success.
- Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum development, assessment, classroom management, and the use of diverse and creative educational resources.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and instructional improvement.
- Proficiency in integrating technology into instruction, including Google Suite and other educational platforms.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Compensation
$63,335 - $101,035
