Courses to be taught may include General Chemistry, Introductory Chemistry and General, Organic and Biological Chemistry.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s in chemistry OR Bachelor’s in chemistry or biochemistry AND Master’s in biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical physics, physics, molecular biology or geochemistry OR the equivalent.
- Equivalent qualifications may include related education, training, employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District.

Desirable Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience.
- Experience using multi-modal approaches and student–centered pedagogy to meet the needs of first generation, immigrant, and low-income students.
Salary Range
$1572.67 - $1725.85 per lecture unit rate, $1572.67 - $1725.85 per lab parity unit rate, $1258.16 - $1380.60 per lab unit rate
