About the Role

This is a part-time, temporary adjunct instructor position in the Department of Chemistry. Applicants will be added to a pool available for consideration by the departmental search committee when openings arise.

About the Department

The Department of Chemistry is part of the TCU College of Science & Engineering (CSE), which encompasses 10 departments and several institutes and programs, including:

• Biology
• Chemistry & Biochemistry
• Computer Science
• Engineering
• Environmental Sciences
• Geological Sciences
• Mathematics
• Nutritional Sciences
• Physics & Astronomy
• Psychology
• Ranch Management Program (undergraduate degree and one-year certificate)

The College is the second largest at TCU in undergraduate enrollment and number of majors, with a high percentage of Honors College students. Over 40% of majors engage in substantive research experiences working one-on-one with faculty mentors. The College offers five doctoral programs, 16 master's programs, and two graduate certificate programs. Faculty are teacher-scholars who integrate instruction and research.
