Chemistry Data Validator / Analytical Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an Environmental Chemistry Data Validator/Laboratory Coordinator to join our team of professionals. This role is open for any of our US offices and is hybrid (3 days in office per week).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in environmental analytical chemistry to project teams.
• Perform data verifications and validations using USEPA and regional guidance.
• Prepare data validation reports and assist with QAPP preparation.
• Aid project teams with laboratory coordination and selection of analytical methodology.
• Maintain laboratory turn around times and ensure data meets project-specific data quality objectives.
• Deliver and be accountable for technical assignments involving data quality assessments.
• Collaborate with internal project teams, external consultants, and laboratories.

Requirements

• 4-year Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in chemistry (preferred) or related field.
• 5+ years environmental analytical chemistry experience (laboratory bench chemistry preferred).
• Prior experience with data validation and preparation of Quality Assurance Project Plan documents is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at both personal and technical levels.
• Well-organized, self-starter with the ability to prioritize work assignments and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Preferred candidate will have experience validating high resolution gas chromatography/mass spectrometry and PFAS analyses.
• Familiarity with USEPA analytical methodologies.
• Knowledge of regional quality standards used for decision making.

Pay

$60,500.00 - $80,700.00 based on experience and location.
