About the role
The Chemistry Department at the University of La Verne seeks adjunct faculty members to teach a variety of undergraduate chemistry courses.
Responsibilities
- Teach a full range of Chemistry courses including Introduction to Chemistry, General Chemistry, Topics in Modern Chemistry, Energy Issues, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, and Environmental Chemistry.
- Provide instruction in associated laboratories.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Chemistry or related field from a regionally-accredited institution with at least two (2) years of teaching experience at the collegiate-level.
- A Doctorate Degree in Chemistry or related field from a regionally-accredited institution.
- The Equivalent of the above qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience at the college or university level.
- Evidence of strong teaching skills.
