Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute assigned laboratory tasks using standard analytical techniques.
- Generate precise, reliable, and reproducible data in a timely manner.
- Document all experimentation strictly adhering to regulatory and GxP standards.
- Develop protocols for complex tests with less defined assays and parameters.
- Utilize chromatography data systems and basic computer software for data processing.
- Ensure full compliance with site safety, GMP, and GLP requirements.
- Present experimental findings and technical data clearly to larger internal groups.
Qualifications
- Required Skills:
- Education & Experience: BS/BA in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field with 5+ years lab experience OR Master's Degree with 2+ years lab experience.
- Analytical Instrumentation: Hands-on experience with instruments including HPLC, GC, LC/MS, UV/VIS, ICP, and chromatography data systems (e.g., Empower, OpenLab, Chromeleon).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding and familiarity with GMP/GLP guidelines and working in regulated environments.
- Core Science & Communication: Strong chemistry background and ability to present findings to larger groups with strong written and verbal skills.
- Preferred Skills:
- Pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Proven track record of scientific presentations or publications with recognized scientific organizations.
- Advanced troubleshooting and experimental protocol development skills.
