Piper Companies is currently seeking a Chemist II to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing organization in Miami, FL. This role will support analytical testing and quality control activities within a cGMP-regulated laboratory environment. Responsibilities for the Chemist II: Perform analytical testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished pharmaceutical products. Operate laboratory instrumentation including HPLC, GC, UV, IR, and dissolution equipment. Support analytical method validation and ensure compliance with established testing procedures. Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and maintain accurate laboratory documentation. Review analytical data and support routine QC laboratory operations. Qualifications for the Chemist II: 3–5 years of analytical laboratory experience within pharmaceutical or related industries. Experience with HPLC, GC, and other analytical testing techniques. Knowledge of cGMP requirements and laboratory documentation practices. Experience with method validation and OOS investigations preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field required. Compensation for the Chemist II: Salary Range: $65,000–$75,000 annuallySchedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM Full-Time, PermanentMedical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays This job opens for applications on 10/12/2026.
