Job Description
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Performing a variety of routine and non-routine tasks in a regulated laboratory environment to support and help develop pharmaceutical platforms.
- Conforming to company policies and current Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), regulatory requirements, and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements.
- Carrying out procedures for process and analysis, and assisting in Quality Control and Research procedures.
- Complying with quality system requirements, preparing, collecting, measuring, and recording samples, documenting test and data analysis results.
- Participating in cross-functional teams for continuous improvement activities, communicating with team members to ensure schedule requirements are met, applying knowledge of performed tasks to elucidate test method failures, analyzing and deducing data, and collating test results.
- Communicating priority and timeliness for completion of customer requests, supporting development areas as needed, and helping the team meet business goals.
- Supporting the manufacturing organization that the lab supports.

Minimum requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related technical discipline with 0 years of laboratory experience.
- Able to stand/sit/walk up to 8 hours per day, perform experiments at bench height, perform light lifting/bending/stretching to support test apparatus setup or teardown, and use computer and phones to participate in meetings.
- General wet chemistry laboratory techniques and/or experience with liquid chromatography (UPLC/HPLC), gas chromatography (GC), dissolution (Apparatus 2, Apparatus 7), Karl Fischer, and FT-IR, UV-Vis.
- Experience with chromatography software (Empower).
- Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- The ability to work in a laboratory with solvents and pharmaceutical substances.
- Solid technical ability, experience with equipment setup, and troubleshooting skills.
