Chemist
Description
As an Analyst, you will be doing the following:
- Run biological extractions on biological samples like urine, blood, plasma and etc
- First will focus on wet lab extractions and then will move into LC-MS (HPLC-Mass Spec) after 6+ months
- Work with Balances, pH meter, pipettes
- Software: eWorkbook (every chemist has a tablet)
- Work under GLP regulations

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- B.S. Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology or related Life Science Degree
- 1+ year of chemistry in school or undergraduate research experience working with pipettes, prep of solutions and etc
- Experience with HPLC, LC-MS or Mass Spec is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Team player
- Food service/bartending/waitress or client facing experience- helpful b/c of fast paced, meeting deadlines and team communication.
- Be able to work under pressure
- Multitasking is great!
- Take high ownership of their work
- Recognize and implement changes for the future

About the Role
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.
Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
