Duties & Responsibilities

• Is responsible for analysis and control of electroless nickel plating solutions, particularly electroless nickel/boron plating systems.
• Performs analysis on chemistries as required by production.
• Accurately records all analysis and chemical adjustments.
• Operates and maintains the wastewater treatment system and equipment.
• Ensures wastewater effluent meets all discharge permit requirements.
• Makesup new chemical solutions.
• Adds chemicals to existing chemical solutions.
• Treats, filters, and transfers chemical solutions.
• Properly disposes of chemical solutions.
• Accurately keeps inventory records of chemicals and supplies from receipt to depletion.
• Maintains cleanliness of waste treatment and chemical storage areas.
• Maintains all chemical handling equipment.
• Reads, familiarizes, and follows department procedures and chemical handling safety rules.
• Ensures all containers are properly labeled.
• Supports the production department.
• Properly labels, stores, handles, and disposes of hazardous waste.

Compensation

$25.00 per hour plus shift differential.
