Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Chemical Treatment Coordinator for our Casa Grande, AZ facility. This role manages the chemical stabilization, neutralization, and evaporation operations, working closely with the Plant Manager to optimize safety, compliance, and hazardous waste processing throughput.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and planning of the chemical stabilization, neutralization, and evaporation processes.
  • Review incoming waste streams for treatability and profitability.
  • Ensure all treatment activities comply with established regulations and site operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with Environmental, Health, and Safety personnel to develop and enforce safety protocols.
  • Recommend hires and retain employees.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact.
  • Assist with monitoring and controlling operational costs while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the treatment area and processes according to established protocols.
  • Pursue best management practices to enhance operational performance.
  • Analyze and assess industry and market trends.
  • Develop technical expertise and knowledge of the company’s chemical treatment capabilities.
  • Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities as part of the Emergency Response team.

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of experience within the hazardous and non-hazardous waste industry.
  • Proven experience with chemical stabilization, neutralization, and evaporation processes.
  • Strong technical knowledge and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function in all levels of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
  • Expertise in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • 40-hour OSHA Hazwoper Certification with current 8-hour refresher.
  • D.O.T. Hazardous Materials Training.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
  • Personality conducive to teamwork.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
  • Reliable form of transportation.
  • Willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC).
  • Must participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) post-employment.
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Willing to work overtime and flexible hours (Monday through Friday).
  • Must report to the designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams and provide regulatory reporting to senior management.
