Chemical Technician

About the role

The Chemical Technician plays a critical role in ensuring maximum customer satisfaction, troubleshooting and resolving immediate issues, and proactively addressing potential issues to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, expert solutions to all customers to enable their business to be profitable and ensure customer satisfaction with clean, shiny, dry vehicles.
• Perform preventative care and troubleshooting, titrating product as needed and monitoring volumetrics.
• Address minor chemical equipment/application repairs and maintain chemical inventory and replenishment orders.
• Maintain Wash Key Reporting, conduct NCS Site Surveys, and support corporate accounts according to protocols.
• Train on-site personnel on technical and chemistry basics, analyze customer outputs, and recommend technical updates or efficiency improvements.
• Identify areas of opportunity for expansion and conduct initial intake discussions with customers.

Requirements

• Average of 50-75 sites per month.
• Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred; or equivalent practical experience.
• Car Wash experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and support.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to support overnight travel up to 40% based on territory and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred; or equivalent practical experience.
