About the role

This entry-level position involves handling day-to-day operations, monitoring chemical processes, and maintaining equipment to support efficient and safe production.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and control chemical processes to ensure consistent product quality and adherence to specifications
• Operate production machinery and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
• Adhere to safety standards and regulations, handling chemicals and equipment responsibly to prevent accidents
• Conduct quality checks and implement improvements to maintain high standards in product output
• Identity and resolve issues promptly, following established troubleshooting procedures to maintain continuous operations
• Maintain activities and any incidents, ensuring clear communication with supervisors and team members
• Participate in initiatives aimed at optimizing processes, reducing waste, and enhancing overall production efficiency

Requirements

• 1+ years of job related experience (preferred work experience with hazardous chemicals)
• A High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Basic computers skills

Qualifications & Experience

• Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA) are a plus

• Chemical Knowledge: familiarity with chemical properties, reactions, and safe handling practices
• Technical Proficiency: basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems relevant to production equipment
• Troubleshooting Skills: ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions promptly

Pay

Expected Hiring Salary Range: $33.69/hr

Schedule

Crews work 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am) working a rotating 2-3-2 schedule. Schedules will rotate from day to night shift every 4 weeks.
