Chemical Repack Utility

The Chemical Packaging Utility Technician is part of the Operations Organization. This role is responsible for pulling bulk chemicals and containers for the Chemical Packaging department. This position must follow strict policies and procedures. Due to the nature of this job, everything is high priority, all paperwork and chemical care must be done with the utmost accuracy, care and priority.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• One (1) to three (3) years of related experience in a production environment
• Or an equivalent combination or education and experience
• Ability to obtain forklift certification (on the job training will be provided)
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of applications
• Demonstrates strong ethics, dependability, punctuality, and accountability; upholds organizational values and maintains respectful conduct across all interactions
• Properly uses and wears all required personal protective equipment
• Speaks clearly and persuasively; listens attentively; contributes positively to team efforts; gives and receives feedback constructively; fosters inclusive and open dialogue
• Properly uses care and calibrates all repackaging equipment
• Navigates change with resilience; approaches challenges resourcefully; shows creativity and problem-solving skills; proactively suggests improvements and adjusts approaches as needed

Qualifications

• Physical activity requiring overhead reaching, sifting, lifting, squatting, stooping, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking and hearing
• Ability to lift over 50lbs repetitively
• Visual requirement is for close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus
• 10-15% or more time is spent looking directly at a computer
• Associate is required to stand, walk (or otherwise be mobile)
• Ability to deal with stressful situations as they arise
