The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills through an individual and/or collaborative approach, understand statistics and quality specifications, and have basic knowledge of pumps and operations of fluid handling systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Understand statistics and quality specifications. Ability to read and interpret monitoring gauges and controllers. Understand chemical handling procedures, including use of SDS, P.P.E., storage and disposal requirements. Basic knowledge of pumps and operations of fluid handling systems. Basic mechanical and computer skills. Basic math calculation abilities. Able to work alternate work schedules including overtime, voluntary and mandatory, based on business needs.
• Preferred Requirements: High School Education/GED. Understanding of pH, metal solubility, conductivity, refractive index, ion exchange, basic fluid dynamics and flow diagrams. Understanding of concentration calculations. Class “D” wastewater operator certification preferred. Working knowledge and knowledge of the theory of operation, function, location, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the following systems: Wastewater treatment system, Systems control panels and programming/alarms, Bulk storage area, Can washer/wash coater/ovens, Reverse Osmosis System, DI System, Coolant systems.

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
