About the Role

As a Chemical Process Operator, you will perform processes to thermally apply coatings as part of a team to manufacture and repair gas turbine engine components. Your work directly supports aviation safety and reliability, with real-world impact every day.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks such as spray coating application, monitor coating application, and coating adherence per work instructions and customer specifications.
• Perform assembly, disassembly, blending, grit blast, and masking/prep in accordance with work instructions and customer specifications.
• Work in accordance with plant safety rules and maintain the highest quality standards in all assigned tasks.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines and other labor tasks as required for production flow.
• Prepare necessary quality documents and confirm the quality of your work using inspection tools, following product specifications, blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Adhere to all 5S policies and maintain a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong shop mathematics skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, and fractions.
• 3-5 years of on-the-job experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions, read, and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Preferred experience with precision measuring equipment and ABB Pendants.

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled shift to meet operational needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable laws.

Schedule

1st shift, Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:30 PM.

Pay

The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, job-related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. Non-exempt employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
