Job Description As a Chemical Process Engineer I here at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will be responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of manufacturing and chemical processes. This position works closely with operations, maintenance, quality, and environmental health and safety teams to optimize process performance, improve product quality, reduce costs, and support continuous improvement initiatives. You will work out of our Geismar, LA facility and will report to the Sr ISC Operations Manager. Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor and evaluate process performance using production and quality dataIdentify opportunities to improve process efficiency, throughput, yield, and reliabilityProvide day-to-day technical support to production operationsInvestigate process interruptions, quality deviations, and equipment performance issuesSupport Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiativesPromote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulationsParticipate in capital and expense projects related to process improvementsPrepare technical reports, process documentation, and operating procedures Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university WE VALUE Internship or co-op experience Understanding of chemical engineering fundamentals and process unit operationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret P&IDs and engineering drawingsProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsEffective written and verbal communication skills US PERSON REQUIREMENT Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status. Compensation The annual base salary range for this position is $84,423-$105,470. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
