Chemical Plant Manager - Relocation Offered

About Our Client

Our client is an industry-leading machinery manufacturer, serving customers globally providing them with various solutions that supports the back end of their own printing and labelling processes on finished goods. They are looking for a skilled Plant Manager with a chemical manufacturing background to lead their chemical fluid production facility north of Chicago.

Job Description

• Oversee all plant specific operations on the floor - leading KPIs for safety, efficiency, quality and cost.
• Manage various chemical risks and support safety initiatives in that regard
• Provide senior leadership to deliver site specific objectives from corporate leadership
• Ensure compliance with ISO, OSHA, EPA and GMP requirements
• Manage plant budgets and capital projects
• Ensure top-level customer experiences from an internal operational perspective, - top quality, on-time shipping, etc
• Lead business planning for the site for immediate, 2 year, and 5 year plans

The Successful Applicant

• 10+ years of progressive experience in a leadership capacity within a Chemical manufacturing environment
• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical field
• Knowledge of ISO, OSHA, EPA, GMP, and other regulations strongly preferred
• Ability to lead KPIs for safety, quality, operations, efficiency, cost, delivery, etc
• Strong project management skills with the ability to implement and execute corporate strategy projects
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
• Candidate local to northern suburbs preferred, open to relocation
