Overview

Waters Corporation is currently looking to hire a Chemical Operator to join our Chemical Manufacturing team in Taunton, MA. In this role, you will be focusing on batch-manufacturing of chemical materials. Working in our Synthesis Manufacturing facility is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in the area of Chemistry while learning different types of equipment utilized in our business.

Responsibilities

  • Batch-manufacturing of chemical materials
  • Comprehend detailed instructions/documentation on procedures and processes for production
  • Finalizing the production of finished products, by accurately adding and recording specified material amounts, gathering and recording operation information and data and for ensuring batches meet final criteria
  • Utilize and properly handle reactors, filter equipment and various other tools
  • Perform calculations and other tasks assigned by the manager

Qualifications

  • Education: Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree, preferably in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field of study. A High School Diploma is acceptable if coupled with 3 years of working experience in a Chemical Synthesis environment
  • Experience: Previous experience in batch-manufacturing of chemical materials strongly preferred
