About the role

Join our Chemical Manufacturing team in Taunton, MA as a Chemical Operator, focusing on batch-manufacturing of chemical materials. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain experience in chemistry while learning to operate various types of equipment in our Synthesis Manufacturing facility.

Schedule: Weekend Shift (7:00 pm – 7:30 am)

Responsibilities

• Batch-manufacturing of chemical materials
• Comprehend detailed instructions and documentation on procedures and processes for production
• Finalize production of finished products by accurately adding and recording specified material amounts
• Gather and record operation information and data to ensure batches meet final criteria
• Utilize and properly handle reactors, filter equipment, and various other tools
• Perform calculations and other tasks assigned by the manager

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field of study
• High School Diploma is acceptable if coupled with 3 years of working experience in a Chemical Synthesis environment
• Previous experience in batch-manufacturing of chemical materials strongly preferred
